Wahroonga Therapy Centre - Counselling

Some people think you have to be ill or in a crisis to begin counselling, but this is not the case. If you’re having a relationship problem, or even if you are just facing a difficult choice or decision which could affect your future, it often helps if you talk it through with an experienced counsellor.

Counselling does not possess a magic word or offer an instant cure, but seeks to help you find your own solutions and to enable you to make your own decisions about your life. Counselling will offer you the opportunity to concentrate on yourself and your situation. You may express feelings that you have held in or not noticed, hear out loud your thoughts and explore the ways in which you have tried or will try to make things better.

Counselling will offer you the chance to be yourself without the fear of being judged. Our time together will be confidential. By being really heard and valued, you will begin to realise that you have the knowledge and strength to solve your problems. Thus I can help you by focusing on assisting you to achieve physical, mental and emotional well being.

Counselling can help you get more out of life and/or your relationship. Counselling could help you with many problems such as:

Relationship problems Abuse Bereavement
Stress Emotional Issues Personal problems
Depression Depression Low self esteem
Low self esteem Divorce Self Awareness
Anxiety Grief & Loss
